Obidike, the leader of the warriors is sent out in the company of other warriors to fetch seven virgins with which to bury the king. Incidentally, he falls in love with one of the slave girls, and to savage her from the horrible fate that awaits them, he deflowers her, because only virgins are used in burying a king.
