Glove for Android, a new app aimed at helping users find the top carrier for their personal needs, has launched in the Google Play store.
The application is currently in beta and available only in San Francisco, New York City, and Israel, making it useless for many Android handset owners, but comes with some interesting features. The free app is switched on by the user and then runs for three days, keeping tracking of where the person goes, what they do, and more. All of that data is then combined to provide a recommendation on which carrier is best for the individual.
According to the app's description page, Glove will also provide help on finding the right plan for the user.
Glove appears to only work with major carriers -- Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. It's not clear whether regional carriers (or other cities) will be added over time. An iOS version is coming soon.
